UX Researcher

Department: Product Development
Location:

The UX Researcher will lead qualitative research across multiple product teams while contributing to mixed-methods studies that improve product experience, reduce risk, and guide product direction. You’ll work across discovery, usability, problem-space exploration, and strategic initiatives. You’ll also be part of building a foundational research practice that supports product decision-making across the organization, helping teams use evidence to guide roadmaps and strategy.

This is a dynamic, cross-organizational role. You will move between teams, products, and divisions, often operating in areas where expectations are evolving and not fully defined. Success requires strong relationship-building, clear communication, and the ability to influence decisions without direct authority.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead mixed-methods research that combines quantitative rigor with qualitative depth.
  • Conduct user interviews, usability studies, and concept evaluations as part of integrated research workflows.
  • Design and support surveys or light quant components that complement qualitative learning.
  • Interpret behavioral data and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Identify research gaps, validate assumptions, and guide early-stage product exploration.
  • Partner with PMs, designers, engineers, and leaders across divisions to ensure research insights are understood and applied.
  • Communicate proactively when expectations need alignment or when challenges arise, working with the Manager, UX Research to maintain clarity and momentum.
  • Help implement tools and processes that capture VoC data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Produce concise, executive-ready research reports that directly support prioritization and strategy.
  • Manage shifting priorities across multiple teams and product areas with autonomy and initiative.

Description of our environment:

  • You’ll support multiple teams and product areas simultaneously, moving quickly and adapting to new challenges.
  • You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across five industry-specific product divisions.
  • You’ll guide teams through clarity, evidence, and strong communication rather than formal authority.
  • You’ll have ongoing partnership and support from the UXR Lead to navigate complex situations and keep research advancing.
  • You’ll be part of a small but growing research team, collaborating closely with fellow researchers and supporting one another’s work.
  • Builds trust across diverse partners and helps shape a healthy, collaborative culture of research within product teams.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in user research, including qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with a “find the people, ask the questions, make the data” attitude.
  • Ability to build trust and influence without formal authority.
  • Excellent communication skills for delivering consumable and actionable insights.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s or advanced degree in Psychology, Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in ERP, B2B SaaS, or multi-product systems.
  • Experience in research ops, frameworks, or enabling distributed research.

This role is perfect for a dynamic, adaptable researcher who thrives on uncovering user needs, driving impactful decisions, and fostering a culture of research within a global organization.
